I'm looking for an alternative to Fancy Hands in Germany. They offer personal assistants for everyday tasks, that don't want to get off your todo list. Here is a list of typical tasks from their homepage:

  • Call Allen Car in NYC and have them pick me up at home and take me to the airport tomorrow at 7am. We'll need a car seat for an infant provided.
  • Find me a dog walker in SE Portland. I'm looking to have my two dachshunds walked 3 times a week. What are the prices like?
  • Set up a meeting with my accountant (CCed), if she's paying let's go to Balthazar, otherwise our office.
  • I'm looking to get some Mirror Pond Beer, but they don't sell it here in NYC. Can you find a place that will ship it to me?

Being able to speak German for phone calls would be very handy for the tasks I have in mind.

Do you have any suggestions? Are there localized alternatives to Fancy Hands?

When I googled Fancy Hands, I saw a listing that says they service clients all over the world. – Kristina Lopez Oct 28 '12 at 22:53

Still, that doesn't answer the question. Are there localized alternatives to Fancy Hands? Maybe the question has to be rephrased. – Zettt Oct 29 '12 at 6:01
@KristinaLopez: I've read the FAQ, too. But they definitly say, that they do not offer service in languages other then german. Furthermore, getting a dog walker in Berlin could be very difficult if you cannot use german equivalents of craigslist for example. – born Oct 29 '12 at 8:41
@Zett: I just added your suggestion. – born Oct 29 '12 at 8:42
