Personal Productivity Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people wanting to improve their personal productivity. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have tried tons of apps, some of the ones I like being Wunderlist and Workflowy. A feature that these 2 don't have (to my knowledge) is a weekly review.. I would love to be able to go back and see what I got done last week so I can improve on my productivity.. Is there any Apps that do something like this?

I don't what platform you're on, but the Reminders app for bothApple platforms comes for free and has a "completed" list sorted and grouped by date. –  Josh Bruce Apr 9 '13 at 0:59

For whatever task management system you use, the completion of each task should be time-stamped. Can you go through and sort by that? For instance in outlook you could check the "tasks" completed for a date range & look at the calendar for the same date range. –  Raystafarian Jul 9 '13 at 9:49

A simple diary will do this. I have used various time recording apps over the years and all of them allow me to do this.

The key to it is being diligent about what you record, then it won't matter what app you use.

The online planner Week Plan keeps showing your completed tasks so you can go back in time and review them.

I use good ol' Sticky Notes for this purpose. I end up not opening productivity apps when I download them. The sticky notes, they just sit right on my Desktop, waiting to have a -> DONE! tag in them.
