This question already has an answer here:

I want to know what is the best way to learn speed reading?

I searched the answer for a week now, but I found no personal experience recommendation. I also found a lot of books and software, but I don't know where to start, since I'm overwhelmed with the information.

So, can anyone tell me what is the best way to learn speed reading?

Additional details :

I also wanted to learn memory improvement, but I found a book called 'Moon walking with Einstein' and I tend to read it, since I think it's an excellent book on the subject of memory improvement.

I recommend Mortimer Adler's How to Read a Book.

The book goes into gory detail how to read at different levels, and how to read different kinds of books.

With regard to your question, though, if you practice the techniques of how to read a book effectively, then you'll digest books more quickly.

Getting through the words quickly is only part of the picture.
