How to present my work overload to others A year is a long time. As far as passing up the chain of command, things management can understand: "too many tasks", "too much context switching", "too many different projects", "too many types of things - coding vs user support vs ..." |

Touch typing Catch-22: How do I switch from hunt-and-peck without losing too much productivity during the switch? That's a good point - re "having" to look at the keyboard. I learned I don't need to look at the keyboard when someone stopped by. I turned around and started conversing while finishing my sentence. Regardless, gojira sounds like he/she is at the upper limit of non touch typing speed. |

Touch typing Catch-22: How do I switch from hunt-and-peck without losing too much productivity during the switch? Do you type "less critical" things at work? Maybe you could touch type e-mails and hunt and peck the official documents? Or touch type the first hour a day and hunt and peck the rest (to keep the average higher)? |

What were the requirements of CS 323 at Yale in 2005? The requirements were to program "something." Yale doesn't want the detailed requirements public so we can't post them here. |

What to do while compiling? What language are you working with? I'm just curious if it is a modern one where something can be done or if really has to take 10 minutes to compile. |

What to do while compiling? I am a software developer. Your answer is exactly what I would do. The only thing I see missing is to refactor the project into smaller ones/components so you don't have to compile the whole thing so often. |

Which GTD apps provide cloud syncing, android device access, and SSL? Because? Try to provide a more complete answer so the person with the question can decide why to try one tool over another. What do you like about Wunderlist? You can edit your answer to include more information. |

Should you use the standard task application in your e-mail system? I agree, not reading e-mail is an exercise in discipline. |

How to conduct update status meetings, that are productive and time efficient I'm going to close this due to it being so similar to the question Brian noted. Maybe you could read that question (and answers) first and then pose a new question that is more specific to your situation. Maybe you tried something that didn't work or the like. |
