Which computer-based Pomodoro timers exist and what are their features? @scientifics: Unfortunately the site is broken. I already mentioned it to the author, but he did not fix it. However, here is the version of the app that I use (unfortunately not the current version): dl.dropbox.com/u/3637391/pomodoro.app.zip |

How to correctly resume yourself with the same enthusiasm after sleep? "I sometimes try to sleep by remembering the to-dos for the tomorrow": I don't understand what you mean by that. Do you fall asleep while thinking about your to dos? |

Complete loss of focus / wanting to work You already checked some of the things I thought of as possible causes. How about stress/anxiety/depression? Do you have any long term goals? |

How can I use the travel time (car driving) efficiently? I want to add that audible uses DRM, but it works on the popular mobile phones. IMO this is somewhat understandable, but something to know in advance. |

How can I use the travel time (car driving) efficiently? These are almost exclusively audio podcasts with topics ranging from politics to skepticism. My personal favorites however are "npr money" and "this american life". One is an excellent show about economics, which explains fairly complex stuff in an understandable way. The other uses storytelling (mostly non fictional) to explore a certain theme like "crime scenes" or "breakups". As a German speaker, I also enjoy "Jazz und Politik" and other stuff from the Bavarian public radio. |

How can I use the travel time (car driving) efficiently? I usually listen to podcasts on my iPod whenever I have to travel/commute. This time is not really used "efficiently", but more pleasant which is maybe the best you can expect from traveling by car. |

Personal notetaking with table editing I get your point that you don't want to use Excel. But what's exactly wrong with it, the prize, the installation size, the startup time? Does using Google Docs fix Excels flaws? |

Best Practices for returning to a complex task? I suppose you are talking about task on your computer. I also do not know what you mean by "session manager". However I am positive that switching task will have its cost in productivity, no matter what software tools you use. |

Solutions for working with pen/paper while using a computer at the same desk +1 for this. My notepad is a spiral bound A5 version, which usually doubles as coaster for my cup of coffee. |

Keep repeated tasks in GTD task management system or calendar? @user6076: you could say that. But I'm talking about the difference in flexibility: If I change my toothbrush two days later. In contrast: not preparing for a weekly meeting in time will possibly end in a desaster. There may however be examples which can not easily sorted into these two categories. |
