What FUTURE-PROOF software for building & managing a personal BIG knowledge base? There was a parser for converting Google Notebook files into Evernote when Google Notebook shut down. There's nothing that makes open source software inherently future proof. Someone has to support it. Supporting software is much more work than writing a simple parser. Maybe the parser will have a problem with handwritten notes but writing a parser that just get the text doesn't even take a day of work. TidiWiki won't give you handwritten notes anyway. |

How do I get faster at typing when you already have a decent speed? Without knowing how fast you were before you started saying that your speed is 65WPM is meaningless. The intention of this thread wasn't to get a list of services that I can easily find via a Google search. It was about knowing which of those services actually help people to improve their speed for a reasonable time investment. |

How do I get faster at typing when you already have a decent speed? What does "useful" mean. What WPM did you had before you started with Typeracer. How much hours did you spent over what timeframe to get to what WPM? |
