comment Where do I leave 'keep in mind' things?
The tough aspect of this for me is doing the weekly review. My keep alive list is getting quite long as is my actual todo list and I'm beginning to feel like I simply don't want to look at how much there is to do, so I don't review it at all.

I've heard good things about the QuiteComforts as well and have always wanted a pair, but I just can't spend that kind of money on headphones.

This is one of my favorite noise maker apps. They're always coming out with new free and premium sounds. I have bought all of their premium sounds because they're very good quality.

I find it most comical that in the end you chose Emacs. Their community would be proud.

Organizing the ebook files was only an example of the over-arching problem the OP is describing. Calibre is only for ebooks.

Out of curiosity, how come you don't use Google Docs for the spreadsheet?

I've been a long user of Instapaper and love it. Great product. I suppose I could create an archive folder in it that I review every so often and then categorize later when I feel it is necessary.
