I got a bachelor's in mathematics in 2008. Now I'm trying to keep my skills up, learn some new math on my own, and practice my tutoring skills helping others in their own journey of mathematics.
I also plan to participate in other StackExchange sites. I have unique skills that I would love to share. I also am always learning and am excited that there are people who can help me with my explorations.

How do you start working? This is good advice. I remember once I was working with a student during a study hall period. He was adamant about how he couldn't do his math assignment because it was too hard and he couldn't think clearly. I fought him tooth and nail to do very simple tasks. 1. Get out your book. 2. Get out a piece of paper. 3. Put your name on your paper. 4. get out your planner. 5. write down your assignment. 6. open the book to the right page. Then I told him that we were just going to talk about a sample problem. He then realized how easy it was and was done in 15 min. |

Good at writing Todo lists, but awful at doing them clarified through grammar and minor rewording. Added a more relevant tag. |

How to use the Pomodoro Technique while finishing a task and the Pomodoro rings? I think you need to make sure you have a 3-5 min break where you are not thinking about it, but 3-5 min shouldn't be too long as far as those pathways being still fresh for jumping back in. I agree that it will be hard at first but I think that over time coming back to what you were working on will become easier. |
