This being said, if asking others for help is not an option, from what you wrote it looks like your husband (or whatever he is) will continue to annoy and pester you which will prevent you from doing what you need to do. It's extremely difficult to change things and be positive and more energetic with someone like that around. You may want to consider leaving first and then trying to arrange an income. But then again, I'm just a by-stander who knows little of your situation.

I don't think you should rely on advice from complete strangers on the internet about such big personal problems. Even with this description of your problems we hardly know you and your situation. I think it would be best to discuss your problems with close friends or family members you trust and ask them for advice.

@DarrenLanigan you can use an electronic calendar and schedule alarms at the desired intervals. However, it's been my experience that after I month I've generally lost interest in the subject and stop repeating it.
