How can I become a more effective listener? I once heard a suggestion for quieting your inner voice. Have two papers (or draw a line down the center of your note paper) in meetings. On one sheet, take meeting notes. On the other, write down To Do items or whatever else pops in your mind. By writing it down on a To Do list, it helps clear those things out of your mind, letting you pay attention better. |
