comment how to get over something stupid done in past?
I mentally torture myself every day over things long passed. You are not alone.

comment How to code faster?
For me and coding, it's all about a whiteboard and markers. I used to sit on the floor of my dorm room with one big whiteboard to draw out the overall project, and then I had two smaller whiteboards on my left and right for focusing on smaller tasks that are part of the bigger project. That in itself is not gonna make the assignment faster, but for me I always enjoyed the way it feels to write on a whiteboard (maybe I'm weird?), so when it came time to get crackin', I was less hesitant to begin and procrastinate.

comment A time-management watch with alarms, timers and vibration?
I know exactly how you feel about the phone. I just can't bring myself to use my iPhone for task management. By the time I get it out, unlock it, wait for the small delay, swipe to the page with the app, open it, wait for it, then find my task...yeah.

comment How to work through technical books for long hours to completion
Honestly I read for like 20-30 minutes a day. Even an hour at a time is too long for me. But I do it every single day, so it adds up compared to people who stress out/use all their energy in one day, and then don't do anything for several days. Also keeps the content fresh by not jamming so much in at a time, and by dealing with the content every day.
