comment How to connect two displays to laptop and keep laptop display on as well?
How many ports do you have on your laptop? It may not be possible. I have a y510p, and I am able to use the hdmi and vga ports with my laptop screen to get three monitors.

comment How to read a 300-page non-fictional book in a day?
@DaniëlW.Crompton Oh yeah, it would be challenging. I doubt much would be retained, especially if this is the first time speed-reading.

comment Solution for reading heavy books while on a treadmill (bookholder)?
You may want to consider a stationary alternative like cycling machine. That would be far easier to read. Or even a desk cycle to use outside of the gym.

@AndrewWelch I recently heard of Spritz app which accomplishes this on the mobile devices. Unfortunately, it rolls out with the Samsung S5.

comment Thinking about romance interfering with productivity.
There must be a balance between work and leisure. In the initial stages of dating people tend to be smitten with an individual causing them to naturally think about them more, do more things with them, etc. I think the best thing you can do is plan out your time; allot time for work, and time for your significant other. It helps to make them mutually exclusive.

comment In which circumstances are the different mobile computers most productive?
I boil it down to these two categories: 1) Reading/learning/watching - tablets are the easiest choice here. Very portable, easy to use anywhere. 2) Working/typing/programming/etc - laptops are the ideal choice for this type of work.

comment What and how to think
It is easy to be on auto-pilot doing these common tasks. You have to make a conscious effort to think. Gruber's answer is an excellent way to do it.

comment What's the most effective physical exercise routine to boost productivity?
I think the question might be "Which physical exercise routine gives you the best bang for your buck" i.e. the most amount of desired results for the least amount of time given. I'd say this belongs on Fitness SE.

It helps to have a good spice rack too: paprika, cayenne powder, garlic powder + salt, onion powder + salt, thyme, ground ginger. Pretty much every unique spice in the spice row of walmart ;)

comment How do I clear my mind before going to sleep?
@kioopi I noticed the same problem. I would be drowsy mid morning and mid afternoon. It went away after I stopped taking melatonin the night before. I think a better solution is valerian root.

comment Motivational texts on Android Lock screen
Not the solution to your question, but you could put the most moving quote you've ever heard as your lock screen text, and you may end up experience some of the effect you're looking for.
