Mostly good advice. But I would certainly remove the comment "food is for wimps". Obviously, the op cares about his health since he works out. The worst advice you can give to someone who needs energy because he has long days is to tell him not to care for lunch time!

comment Computer ergonomics: is a change as good as a rest?
What's your "confortable workstation"? Are you talking treadmill-desk? standup desk? Vertical keyboard, trackball? Is the investment too important that you can't have the same setup in both environment?

comment What is the current state of the art technology for PC ergonomics?
A trackball would be more appropriate I think, for ergonomics. This device forces you to have your wrist twisted to be flat like on the keyboard. Better ergonomics involve vertical keyboards and (trackball) mouse, because as the op mentions, your hands' resting position is open, not flat.

Evernote lets you create public links with your notes. Can't you copy and paste those links in Asana?

comment How do you remember to sit up straight?
A "geekdesk" is nice but pricy. I would highly recommend starting out with any simple desk that has adjustable legs on it (I've got a cheap one from IKEA) and adjust its height so that it's slightly lower than your elbows when your shoulders are low and you're standing up straight. Also, adjust your workspace productivity.stackexchange.com/questions/7398/…

comment Is it a good idea to try dvorak when you already have a 140 wpm speed?
Yes, I would recommend trying it first. FYI, it took me more than 2 days to get used to it, more like a few weeks of daily use to get my speed back, but it's definitely worth it imho.

Kinesis Advantage is the way to go if you're looking for a more comfortable keyboard.

comment Does anyone have any recommendations for an alternative workstation ergonomic setup
Yes, the chair you linked too is expensive, but it looks a lot like a "knee chair" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kneeling_chair) which you can purchase from Amazon in the USA for less than $100. Rather inexpensive.

comment Monitor Display Settings for better productivity
If you can't change the height of your desk, I would suggest getting a footrest. And if your hand and/or wrist hurts, you might have carpal tunnel syndrome, in which case you should get a more ergonomic keyboard (I recommend the Kinesis Advantage Pro, but it's pricey) and a trackball or vertical mouse (read up on superuser.com/questions/30769/… )
