Visual Communications Professional with a background in technology. In the thick of learning Java, PHP & MySQL to augment my web skills. I'm taking a shine to programming a lot more than I thought I would.

Perhaps some more information or a link about "Adventure Time" as you reference it here?

comment Which is a minimal and effective way to prioritise tasks with projects/tags?
Not at all. I prefer simplicity as well, and the main reason I use google cal is that it's so ubiquitous. A lot of the third party tools are ANOTHER tool I need to use on top of what I'm already using, and sometimes they may be blocked when I'm working onsite with a client. I tend to look at it from the perspective that if it helps make ME more productive, it's a good system. Everyone's goign to find their own little groove. :)

@Alpha Hard deadlines are included in calendar entries. For instance: since 08/24, I've known about a paper due on 09/23. I've had a weekly task BBB - 09/23 - ITSEC Paper with details of the assignment in the notes section of the calendar entry. Last night, I added an hour a day from now through Monday allocated to AAA - 09/23 - ITSEC Paper. Higher priority beause I'm behind, and the due date as a reminder. Things without due dates are usually personal projects, so I don't worry about where they get moved.

Sadly, no. But it's something I do need to do. I see you have your site on your profile; I'll send you an email via your site and we can connect outside of stack.

comment How to keep scheduled tasks in a Calendar app?
I also use google calendar to keep track of all my "to do's". I posted the detils of my system to productivity.stackexchange.com/questions/8095/…, this may offer further perspectives to add to @Jay's response. He and I use similar methods.
