comment Why am I not making money and success even If I am organised, motivated and hard-working?
This question has been asked two years ago. I am curious to know how things have developed for the author and what experience he would share with us now?

comment How to trick our minds into doing mundane tasks?
I would extend the idea about the audio books to the the more generic concept of properly coupling a mundane activity with another, "supplementary" activity - the trick is to find out what would be that activity. More about this approach: cogsci.stackexchange.com/questions/5021/…

comment Reinvent the wheel or finding if it has been done?
You should keep in mind that your searching skills would increase over time, and the time needed to discover something accordingly. Also do not forget that you might stumble across an existing solution which by far surpasses expected productivity gains in a way you would have never known otherwise.

His question is about that people with poorer skill set and motivation than his, do succeed, while he does not. So the Harvard example is irrelevant here.

The concept of focus is very well explained in "The Origin of Brands" book by Al Ries and Laura Ries.

comment What was scientifically shown to support productivity when structural organizing/accessing file and folders?
Not a straight answer to your question, but might be useful anyway: do you bookmarks in your file manager so that you do not have to "click miles before you get to your content", as well as file manager tab sessions. I'd even recommend you a good and free file manager for this purpose: cubicreality.com/ce. Another suggestion is to keep data as much as possible in tree-structured files (e.g. mytreedb.com) instead of numerous files in a folder.
