comment How can I keep track of the math exercises I am doing?
What sort of level of mathematics? Brushing up on high school math? Calculus? Junior level math? Grad school? I would recommend getting a binder with a checklist in front of all the problems in a book. Every time you solve a problem put the solution in the binder with a summary of the methods you used.

comment Feeling after working on hard problem
This is an interesting question, though I think you could work on putting it to words. I have found at some times working on problems exhaust and drain me, especially when I can't solve them. On the other hand, I have had times when I've enjoyed working on problems I can't and haven't solved.
