Also read from wide screens and large polices. Read good content.

I wouldn't recommend to print hard copies, but taking, keeping and re-reading notes is essential.

comment How to cancel out caffeine's effects on sleep?
it just depends on the amount of (plain) water you drink during the day. Especially if you drink mostly sugared sodas and alcohol, then drinking a lot of water in the evening will make you sleep a lot better. However 1.5L is more than the amount you would need in an entire day, so I guess it also works with a lot less.

Alcohol never has a good effect on your sleep in the long term, but if you're not a heavy drinker, drinking a glass of water or two and a very small amount of heavy alcohol can help occasionally, especially if you're under heavy stress.

+1 for alimentation and drinking water. Eating at regular times is VERY important since it creates the rythm of your body.

comment How much of my time should I plan in advance: A day, a week or a month?
A suggestion : Plan a project one/two months ahead, eg so you can tell when you can take a leave or so. Then the rest one or two weeks ahead. The point is not to respect your planning, but to know how far you are and what to do during the present week.

comment Always sleepy, tired and not focused
Have you tried to wake up sooner ? It is always bad to wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle. As a personal example, I am almost always sleepy for the whole day when I wake up at 7am (I go to bed between 0:30 and 1 am). Waking up at 6am makes me tired at the end of the day, but I have more energy during the day and don't feel sleepy...

comment Name of music type that is not distracting
Could you detail "classical music" ? eg I am unable to work with some Bach or Beethoven in the ears. What you describe is also used (in a different way) by some "audio drugs".
