comment How can we eliminate the process of 'imperfect recall' of information?
Hmmm. Perfect recall with little effort is a tall order. At the end of the day we're imperfect humans. Hard to answer if there is a better way to improve your situation without knowing what you do today.

Please rephrase your question in well structured English. It's very hard to understand your question, and perhaps therein is your problem with comprehension. It seems English is not your primary language from the broken wording.

comment What is a good planning software for a proactive student?
@alex, I took a look at the Trello website and from what I can tell, using it for GTD process requires time to manage the tool. Articles I saw from people on how they manage talked about moving items around between the Tello boards as they became next actions. OmniFocus handles that motion natively, I don't have to move things around to manage what I'm going to do next. One goal you should have is to spend less time managing your system and more time getting things accomplished. The system should serve you, not the other way around.

@alex, no, I haven't tried trello but it looks interesting. I'll have to check it out. One thing I really like about OmniFocus is the context concept which allows a task to be viewed either as a part of the project it belongs to or in my defined set of contexts. If I'm meeting with someone, I only see the items relevant to our discussion (context) even if they come from multiple projects.

comment How to handle a job that forces multitasking?
A trick i use for finding stuff in my notebooks is to skip a few pages at the beginning to use as a table of contents. When I have down time I'll number the remaining pages before I start using a new volume. When I have a page I want to find easily I go back to the front, note the page number and include a title for the page. No stickies to misplace!

comment What would be a good way to maintain an academic and professional journal ?
One suggestion, if they're not already, number all your pages and start a page at the beginning for a table of contents that you maintain as you add to the journal. You could block out a few pages to record major events or to track the high level goal status. The TOC can really help you find stuff that is buried in the journal, especially if you decide you want to create a new list that you'll be maintaining or referring back to.
