I have been managing international teams on global improvement programmes for FTSE and Fortune 100 companies for the last 10 years or so, and have a pretty good grasp on managing productivity from myself and teams of up to 100 - but still loads to learn.

Got my Prince2 foundation, and familiar with it through various public sector contracts.

I am a long term member of Mensa, the high IQ society, and head up two professional bodies in Scotland: ISACA and the Institute of Information Security Professionals.

Have founded two consultancies, and run large teams for two global professional services firms - so have an excellent view of the balance required at both ends.

Tend to look at the bigger picture, rather than the benefits of a specific tool.

comment How do you act confident?
Excellent answer - a great positive is to get a 'soul jar' which your friends can populate with positive statements about you. When you feel less confident, read the contents of the jar - it sounds very uplifting.

comment How to control the urge of refreshing the forum pages to see if someone has replied?
This works well along with Pomodoro or similar tools. In Pomodoro you do not follow any notification (exceptions granted in life threatening emergencies :-) and only check on your next break.

This doesn't answer your question, but I just can't understand why you would move to a tool which doesn't have the functions you know you already need. Choose your tool based on functions, don't move and then see if you can make it fit your needs...

comment Becoming efficient and thus reducing how much we work & stress?
Absolutely agree with this - I have worked with many people who are obviously working flat out, but who get about the same or less done than me, fixated on career, selfishly exclude others etc; and I make sure I enjoy life, make time for my family and band (and Stack Exchange) and get not only a feel good factor for mentoring others, but also have them support me. A 'family' type of team works much better for me to get stuff done while enjoying life and career.

comment What are the general steps to increase your IQ?
I think you'll find that you can definitely have a high IQ while being unhappy. Some of the individuals I know through Mensa are unhappy because of their high IQ (as it can lead to alienation)

comment What are the (dis)advantages of Mindmap software?
Can you explain why you think 2d mind maps are insufficient. As a standalone statement it doesn't provide much value. Also, can you explain your 3 points a little further.
