I have been managing international teams on global improvement programmes for FTSE and Fortune 100 companies for the last 10 years or so, and have a pretty good grasp on managing productivity from myself and teams of up to 100 - but still loads to learn.
Got my Prince2 foundation, and familiar with it through various public sector contracts.
I am a long term member of Mensa, the high IQ society, and head up two professional bodies in Scotland: ISACA and the Institute of Information Security Professionals.
Have founded two consultancies, and run large teams for two global professional services firms - so have an excellent view of the balance required at both ends.
Tend to look at the bigger picture, rather than the benefits of a specific tool.

Poor fridge management Hi Gruber - as per the faq, this is off topic here. Simply put, though, just plan to look in your fridge every day. Prioritise eating things that are close to their best before date. |

Simple program with subtasks If I knew the product I might do just that. However I have never heard of this one. The op however has, so can easily edit the answer. |

Simple program with subtasks Answers that are just a link are very low value so tend to get marked down or deleted. Look at the higher scoring answers - they not only have a link, but also a description of functionality. |

writing reports about phone meetings and keeping track and following up on them Yep, excel makes this quite easy. If you have a column for topic you can use pivot tables to view on a per conversation basis if you want. |

How to get over passive thinking did that question help? I am tempted to close this one as a duplicate if that one had what you need. |

recover from depression As per comments - this is off topic here. You'd be better off looking at professional help where depression is concerned. |

How to work while depressed? The handful of folks I knew undergoing depression treatment were encouraged to work, and my employer had a process for tailoring support to help manage them. |

How to mitigate typing problem Hi William. This is not a productivity question - all you need is practice. Whether formal practice with an instructor, or just practicing by yourself. Focus on accuracy first then speed. |

How should one feel inside when he sees the clash of education and money? BROY - this is still a very open ended, subjective philosophical discussion, not a question which works here. Some people may love this kind of job, others may hate it. Not answerable in any objective way. |
