comment How to keep up with a todo application?
Hi Rob, did you get any further with your quest(ion)? This is a really interesting point and I'd like to know if you finally found your perfect organisation/system and how it looks.

comment How do you act confident?
Another great source for learning the power of positive thinking is Dr. Joseph Murphy's book "The power of your subconscious mind" (free audio: youtube.com/watch?v=2su2NtRij7E)

comment How to remember things you don't often use?
exactly - taking notes is essential if you (like most people, I assume) do not have a photographic memory for every detail.

@Celeritas: a topic like "others" or "miscellaneous" is always dangerous as it allows you to put everything in there and create a great mess. On the other hand it's better than nothing and as long as you have full text search and the right search term, you'll find your note anyway, so I'd say don't bother too much about the right topic name and just collect those notes "somewhere". If you then realize, that many of them concern the same topic (e. g. "computer", you can still create a new category later).

@juanpastas: how do you take your notes? On paper or electronically? I find it useful to take them electronically which gives me full text search of the content. (I've always struggled with notes on paper and I'm also forgetting things...)
