Is there data on the effectiveness on mind-mapping? I full agree with HedgeMage. And if you absolutely must have a study, pick anything from Google Scholar (scholar.google.com/…) my personal recommendation of which is "Mind mapping as a tool in mathematics education" (complabs.nevada.edu/~byerleyc/MT96296.pdf). You might also want to take a look at Tony Buzan's books. He is credited with originally coining the term "mind map" and developing the philosophy behind it. |

What are alternatives to XMarks for bookmark synchonization? I actually agree, but we may also have different ideas on bookmark-philosophy. I keep the bookmarks in my browser to a limited set of pages that I regularly visit (such as my web-based financial software and local weather reports) and everything else I consider non-regular reference material which is stored in my pinboard.in account and tagged appropriately for when I need it. |

How do I prevent being overwhelmed by my GTD inbox? realized that I actually covered "inbox splitting" without addressing the question's author |

How do I prevent being overwhelmed by my GTD inbox? I think I see what you mean now, and I will alter my answer based on your elaborations. I do believe though that it would be easier for other persons searching for questions regarding the length of "Someday/Maybe" lists to see relevance in a question with a title distinctly mentioning it. |

How do I prevent being overwhelmed by my GTD inbox? I suggest you move your question about the long "Later"/"Someday" list to a second question as it is not within the scope of the Inbox, per se. The "Later"/"Someday" lists are post-processing destinations. |

What is the linkage between “next actions” and “projects” in GTD? I would agree with this, and this also seems to be the official DAC stance on the matter. In webinar after webinar, David, Kelli, and everyone else will always repeat that maxim: the Weekly Review is the key. |
