comment Version control for homework?
You can also exclude subfolders from Dropbox sync which can be useful when you work on dev projects which need to be built often - just exclude the build folders from sync. (I assume you know how to do ignore with SVN for these purposes)

@Tom I still don't understand this magical "exact place in Evernote"... I use it, and I have hundreds of notes. The only way to quickly find them is search (using the search functionality) again. I'm honestly trying to understand what I'm missing here :)
