comment Which computer-based Pomodoro timers exist and what are their features?
-1 The question is explicit about computer-based devices only.

Integration to taskbar is a very promising idea as it doesn't take up space on the screen. However that feature alone isn't enough to replace my current software Pomodairo.

I updated the post with the software's limitations. This is almost completely incompatible with Pomodoro Technique.

comment What is the fastest way to take pictures of a case file?
The original pages cannot be replaced by any means because they are authenticated. It would be fraud in other words. Another problem about using a conventional scanner is how poorly holed most of the papers are, which makes it quite impossible to straighten up and have all the holes aligned.

comment Is it possible to learn while sleeping?
Welcome to Personal Productivity, moonstar2001. When you post links that on their own are supposed to answer the question, please elaborate a bit more on what they are talking about, so this answer can continue useful even if the links happen to be broken in the future.

comment Downside of energy drinks
@Belisama Coffee is largely believed to help boost productivity and apparently xralf is using energy drinks as a replacement. I guess a question that requires a medical diagnosis or drug recommendation would be off-topic but in this case a peer-reviewed paper on the long term effects of the common compounds of energy drinks could answer the question.

You forgot answering the question. Is it possible or not to learn while sleeping?

Do you take breaks during your reading sessions? You may be feeling tired which causes more distractions.

comment Is it possible to learn while sleeping?
This is interesting indeed but it doesn't answer the question. There is actually a term for learning during sleep which can be either sleep-learning or hypnopedia.

How did you come to that conclusion? I mean did someone prove it innefficient or is it based on your own experience?

@DaveNewton I want to know if it's been proven to work and if so the most efficient method to do it.

comment Scanning documents, going paperless: what to keep, what not to keep
Answering your question, contracts may have it's contents changed and you need to refer to the version as of when you've bought the product. Whatever is added or removed afterwards only concerns future customers.

comment Does breathing air with an increased percentage of oxygen make you more productive?
You're asking two different things here. Whether increased oxygen improves productivity and the short/long-term effects of the practice. I suggest you ask about the effects in another question to get better answers.

comment Does breathing air with an increased percentage of oxygen make you more productive?
This could be an interesting answer if you gave a brief explanation of what oxygen toxicity is and the main health concerns mentioned by Wikipedia. It's not a bad source but a short explanation helps understanding why the links provided are relevant to the discussion. I apoligize for downvoting, the problem is in the question that is asking two very different things.

This doesn't answer whether there is or isn't a correlation between increased oxygen consumption and productivity.

comment What are some alternative methods to measure productivity?
Counting the number of pomodoros is indeed following the tradicional output/time but that was never mentioned in this answer. This technique is not designed to measure any kind of output but organize it's efficiency by managing the intervals. The output in this case is the mere conclusion of a task which can't be compared to another task.

"Trusting your gut" sounds a lot like testing the water temperature with your bare hands. You feel it's hot if your hands are colder than the water, you feel it's cold when your hands are hotter. I'm looking for the equivalent of a thermometer in this analogy. The role of standardized formulas is, in my opinion, to measure more objectively.
